Travel with the Chamber

Close your eyes.  Let the feeling of a whisper light breeze glide across your shoulders.  Lick your lips.  Let the sweet, salty taste of the sea air linger on your tongue.  Open your eyes to the luscious, jewel-toned landscape of Tuscany, where the Renaissance was born and culture and beauty are woven into the very fabric of the community.

Taking a trip is a wonderful way to rejuvenate and re-energize after a dull and gloomy winter season.  As the frost disappears and the daffodils start to bloom reminding us that long, warm days are in the future-- planning a vacation seems just as right as rain!  While many people choose to travel in March and April on spring trips, planning for a fall getaway is just as nice and often the process of planning and anticipation of travelling can provide as much excitement and inspiration as making the trip itself!

Every year, the Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce hosts a trip, that makes traveling to and seeing the most beautiful places in the world affordable and easy.  In November 2011, the BACC coordinated travel to the stunningly beautiful Amalfi Coast of Italy.  Our travelers spent 8 days and 7 nights soaking up the culture, gastronomic delights, cutting edge-design, luxury and elegance of the Mediterranean Coast of Italy.  It was such a successful and enjoyable trip that we have decided to visit Italy again, and this time the destination is the amazing region of Tuscany.

Tuscany is regarded by many as the birthplace of art, history, philosophy and beauty.  It's famous residents include some of the most influential names in human history, including Dante, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Niccolo Machiavelli, Leonardo da Vinci, and Galileo Galilei.  It is the home of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, gorgeous cathedrals, luxurious castles, sumptuous foods, and of course, the best wine in the world.

The Bartlett Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Chamber Discoveries to bring residents of our community an unparalled trip to the Tuscany Region of Italy for an unbelievable value as a part of our Travel with the Chamber series. Many organizations claim to provide value and savings in creating travel packages but the uncertainty of air fares can completely alter and overhaul your travel budget.  Due to the powerful negotiation power of your Chamber of Commerce, we have built an all-inclusive trip to Tuscany that includes round-trip air travel from Memphis!
