The Bartlett / Mid-South is a multi-state region each offering their own unique outdoor recreational opportunities. If you enjoy being outside, you will definitely enjoy our region.
This multi-state region is fortunate to have a wide assortment of national public lands that provide all types of outdoor activities:
For those who like to get as far from the madding crowd as possible, the Mid-South still maintains a portion of its primeval self. In addition to many of the national public lands listed above there are smaller designated wilderness areas, some public and some on private trusts. Check out these wild places:
