Bartlett - A Top 100 Community

2010 Program of Work

Growth is the Bartlett Chambers key word for 2010 growth in business for our Members, growth in the overall Membership, and growth in the local economy. This is our three-pronged objective for 2010.

Helping members grow their business is the primary function of a chamber of commerce and the Bartlett Chamber takes this responsibility very seriously. Throughout 2010 the BACC will look for ways to improve the products and services already being provided to our members and to identify new opportunities to help our members grow their business. These will include informative and relevant workshops and forums, networking opportunities, Member to Member Marketing, spotlighting BACC members to the buying public, Member to Member Hot Deals, and more.

Growing the BACC membership makes for a stronger chamber of commerce and enhances the ability of members to do more business with fellow members.  The Chamber will be looking to strengthen its reach to the overall business community within the Bartlett area. This will require additional personnel dedicated solely to increasing the membership base. It also means enabling the Chamber Ambassadors to be more aggressive in promoting the benefits of the Chamber with improved marketing collateral.

Growing the overall economy by expanding existing businesses and attracting new investments will take on a much greater significance in 2010. The Bartlett Chamber will be unveiling a major public/private economic development initiative in 2010 that will be a milestone for the community. This long-term strategic plan will be used to market and brand the assets that make the Bartlett area such a strong location for existing businesses as well as new companies.

2010 will be a pivotal year for the BACC as we move forward in a more pro-active direction of growth and sustainability. It will be a great year to be a part of this dynamic membership.
